# Nature inFocus

> Nature inFocus (NiF) is a photo-led platform for wildlife, conservation and nature photography from India. Since 2014 it has run Asia's premier nature and wildlife festival and one of the world's largest nature photography contests, produces natural-history films, and publishes an archive of over a thousand stories from the wild. Based in Bengaluru, India.

Nature inFocus brings together photography, filmmaking and reporting to tell India's nature and conservation stories. Its work spans four pillars — a stories archive (Environment, Animals, Travel, Guide, Nature Digest and Video), the annual Nature inFocus Festival, the Nature inFocus Photography Awards, and the NiF Productions film studio (Project Tiger, Wild Tamil Nadu and more). The site also hosts a community where members publish their own stories and a podcast, "Some Like It Wild".
