Common Marine Life of Lakshadweep - A Pocket Guide
NCF-India has released a brief guide to Lakshadweep's marine species — what they eat, where they live and their behaviour.
Nature Conservation Foundation - India has brought out a guide to the marine species of Lakshadweep funded by the Rufford Small Grants Foundation and PewMarine Fellowship Program. The booklet is called Common Marine Life of Lakshadweep - A Pocket Guide.
It details the behaviour and lifestyle of fish, algae, corals, seagrass and other forms of marine life found around the islands. Every section details a life form, talks about why it's important and includes trivia as well.
The guide also includes photos from Umeed Mistry, Rohan Arthur, Jordi Pages, Rucha Karkarey, Pooja Rathod, Teresa Alcoverro and Shreya Yadav.
